Where does the money go?

On my last three bi-weekly paychecks, because we're in super double overtime pleasepleaseplease stay-and-work-as-long-as-you-can crunch time at work, I've managed to net close to $4000. All told this year, I'll probably make somewhere in the neighborhood of $35K.

So where does all the money go? Why do I still feel like I'm thisclose to the poverty line? How come I'm taxed more than 25 percent on my income? Huh, Bush, HUH? Oh, wait, did I just answer my own question. Yes, yes I did. The last one, anyway.

But I still don't know where the rest of my money goes.

Sigh...


Okay, I'll see you cats later. I've gotta head to the bookstore and sprinkle $50 bills behind me so I know the path home.
